Hosted across many familiar venues around Cowes, we are delighted to offer our Free Fringe. We hope you can pop along to listen to a whole listing of local bands and talents performing during our festival for free. 

FRIDAY 23RD MAY

SATURDAY 24TH MAY

On Saturday 24th May, the town will come alive with a host of buskers and musicians, taking to the streets to entertain you and brighten your day.

 

Look out for them in popular spots such as The Wishing Well on Shooter's Hill, The Town Square near The Painter's Arms, The High Street near Helly Hansen, The Pedestrian Precinct & The Old Post Office building on Market Hill.

The Isle of Wight super medleyist that is Cornerstone frontman Dave Priddle. Just a superb performer with a two hour set here to settle you into the evening.

The Isle of Wight's seminal Reggae band, boasting a strong line-up of brass to drive home hits from the past as well as their own, ever popular songs.

SUNDAY 25TH MAY

On Sunday 25th May the town will once again come alive with a host of buskers and musicians across the High Street from midday.

A wonderful songwriter visiting the island from the mainland specifically for Cowes Fringe. His songs are dreamy and he's a very nice chap too.

Chris Quinton is a well known Singer Songwriter from Cowes, working in the community on a number of projects. As well as performing himself as both a solo artist and in the "Fool's Errand" and "Jack & Gold" outfits, he focusses on original music locally. As such, he curates the IOW Acoustic Originals event at Quay Arts and enjoys a great deal of success in his work with young people, releasing music under his banner of Edges First Music. If you know young people (aged between 12 - 85 years) who are looking for an outlet, Chris is a great guy to speak to!
