Described as ‘James Brown meets Rodrigo y Gabriela’, Jonjan combines the athletic skill of passionate Flamenco with highly dynamic Funk playing - pushing an audience’s expectation of what a solo guitar can do in the right hands.
Born in Istanbul with British/Turkish heritage, Jonjan has performed for Apple, the BBC, Google, Yamaha, George Benson, on the London Eye and in Jimi Hendrix’s former apartment to name some highlights internationally.
His debut solo album 'Strings Attached’ mastered at Abbey Road and released in November 2023 featured tracks composed by himself used in a major aerial acrobatics circus production.
Jonjan is a master of his craft and a whirlwind of Latin-infused acoustic-percussive energy in action that leaves audiences captivated, amazed or inspired in any setting he performs within.
