the  island's  got  talent

What an unforgettable afternoon we had at The Island’s Got Talent 2026!

The event was a true celebration of local talent, creativity and community spirit, with the overall winner earning a coveted performance slot at Cowes Fringe this May.

The standard of performances was exceptional, making it a fantastic showcase of the Island’s diverse artistic talent, see our winners below.

We were honoured to be joined by an outstanding panel of judges:

Nigel Hartley MBE – Cowes Fringe Patron and former CEO of Mountbatten Hospice

James Newman – BRIT Award winner and the UK’s Eurovision 2021 entry

Hannah Brear – Leader of Medina Community Choir, who has performed at Carnegie Hall and for the Pope

DJ Jamroki – Young Island Do Talent DJ

A special thank you goes to our host, Chris Quinton, who skilfully guided the afternoon and kept proceedings running smoothly throughout.

We are also grateful to Wight TV for filming the event; a film of the afternoon will be released soon.

Our thanks extend to East Cowes Town Council and our supporters at Artisan Bakery for their valued support in making the event possible.

Most importantly, thank you to
every competitor who took part.
Your talent, courage and passion made the event such a memorable success.
